The Departments of Statistics and Political Science and Institute for Social and Economic Research and Policy at Columbia University are delighted to invite you to our spring conference on Multilevel Regression and Poststratification.

Big business, public policy, and social wellbeing are driven by data, but data are rarely representative of the populations that they needs to represent. Weighting adjustments are useful but limited in the number of things that can be adjusted for. MRP and related regularization techniques appear to be promising but raise many unanswered questions. Join us for two days of talks, discussions, and networking on data design, modeling, computation, and generalization to meet some of the challenges of MRP.

We are committed to an accessible, safe, inclusive, welcoming, and harassment-free experience. All attendees are expected to uphold the standards outlined in our code of conduct. For any questions regarding the conference or conference facilities, please do not hesitate to reach out to the organizing team Lauren Kennedy, Andrew Gelman and Yajuan Si.
