Macroeconomist and applied theorist. Her research focuses on the effects of informational and financial frictions on business cycles. Most recently she has been studying the aggregate implications of strategic interactions and production networks for business cycle fluctuations as well as the effects of complex interdealer networks on financial stability.
She is am currently an Assistant Professor of Economics at Columbia University and a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research. Prior to Columbia, she was an Assistant Professor at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Senior Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. She received my Ph.D. in Economics from MIT in 2010 and her Bachelor’s degree from MIT in 2005.
