James Cocks is a first-year MS candidate in urban planning, focusing in urban economic development. He holds a bachelor's in architecture from Yale and has four years of experience working in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. His work experience has focused so far in California, New Mexico, and the Middle East. His research interests include the intersection of social, economic, and spatial factors as they relate to the built environment.
