Matthew Pittinsky is a doctoral student in the Sociology of Education program at Teachers College, Columbia University and a Mellon Graduate Fellow at the Institute for Social and Economic Research and Policy (ISERP) at Columbia University. His research interests span issues in the sociology of classrooms, social network analysis, the intersection of business and education, new models of Internet-based data collection and eLearning.
