Research
Rebecca Weitz-Shapiro is a Ph.D. student in Political Science at Columbia University. She received her AB from Princeton UniversityÂ's Woodrow Wilson School. Her research focuses on the consequences of federalism and decentralization for local government performance and democracy more generally. Her empirical work centers on Latin America and she has done extensive field work in Argentina.
