The ISERP working paper series is designed to circulate promising, new scholarly work of our affiliates, and includes theoretical and empirical research papers, as well as research-based policy papers. Papers accepted into the series demonstrate a strong potential for publication, but have not yet been submitted and/or accepted for publication elsewhere. The abstracts and papers are posted to our website, and print copies are made available on a by-request basis.

Procedures for Submitting a Paper

ISERP is pleased to issue an ongoing call for papers for its working paper series. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis from our faculty fellows, postdoctoral and graduate fellows, visiting scholars, seed grant recipients, and other scholars affiliated with ISERP. Papers submitted for review should be sent via e-mail as a file attachment to Kathryn Neckerman. Please include a cover page with the title of the paper, the author’s name(s), affiliation(s), biographical note(s), and complete contact information. On a separate page, please include an abstract of the paper suitable for public reports and ISERP’s publicity materials, as well as relevant keywords.

All submissions are reviewed by an editorial board comprised of senior staff and affiliated faculty members. Papers accepted by the committee must be [re]submitted as a Microsoft Word document unless prior arrangements are made with ISERP staff. Final submissions should be single-spaced and fully-justified. The font face should be “Times New Roman” with a font size of 11 points. Final formatting of the papers as well as conversion to PDF format will be done by ISERP staff.
