NYU-Columbia Seminar on Ethnic Politics

Organization

Overview

This seminar has three principle goals: 1) to encourage inter-disciplinary discussions on ethnic politics and ethnic identity, 2) to provide a forum in which graduate students can learn about the ethnic politics and meet researchers doing innovative work in the field and 3) to strengthen links between the researchers working on these issues in NYU and Columbia.

The seminar is sponsored by ISERP and the Wilf Family Department of Politics at NYU. Meetings will be held at NYU in the Fall and at Columbia in the Spring. Participants are asked to read the papers presented in advance since presentations will typically be brief. All papers are posted in advance and can be found at the NYU Wilf Family Department of Politics website.
