The Robert M. & Annetta J. Coffelt and Robert M. Coffelt Jr. Fellowship, available for one to three months, is intended for doctoral candidates and junior scholars working on topics related to the American Revolution, Early Republic, or ideas and philosophies of America's founding fathers.

Miller Center/Hagley Library Dissertation Fellowship in Business and Politics is for graduate students who have completed all course work for the doctoral degree and supports a term of one year.
The Miller Center/Hagley fellowship supports completion of exceptional dissertations for which Hagley’s Library research materials constitute a significant source and that connect with the Miller Center's mission.

This funding partnership supports projects to develop and advance knowledge concerning endangered human languages. Made urgent by the imminent death of roughly half of the approximately 7000 currently used languages, this effort aims to exploit advances in information technology to build computational infrastructure for endangered language research. The program supports projects that contribute to data management and archiving, and to the development of the next generation of researchers.

The Consortium offers short-term Research Fellowships, nine-month Dissertation Writing Fellowships and a nine-month NEH Postdoctoral Fellowship for scholars in the history of science, technology or medicine who would like to use collections at two or more institutions in the Consortium. Dissertation and Postdoctoral Fellows use offices in the Consortium’s facility in Center City Philadelphia and have ready access to events and activities throughout Philadelphia’s vibrant academic and cultural communities.
