IRCPL Dissertation Fellowship

The IRCPL Dissertation Fellowship provides students with $5,000 towards the completion of the dissertation over the course of an academic semester (typically the fall semester). Fellowship recipients must be in registered full-time at Columbia University for the duration of the award period and are expected to contribute to the intellectual life of the Institute.

Global Religion Research Initiative

The initiative is dedicated to supporting the study of religion in global perspective in order to address two weaknesses in contemporary scholarship, namely the neglect of religion as a subject of study in the social sciences and relative neglect of religions outside of the North Atlantic region.

Mellon/ACLS Dissertation Completion Fellowships

65 year-long fellowships are available for graduate students to complete their dissertation.

Fellows must select one of the 13 participating residential research centers, where they will spend an academic year doing research.
