Biography: Colleen Larkin is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Political Science at Columbia University, specializing in International Relations. Her research interests include international security, U.S. foreign policy, and nuclear strategy. Ms. Larkin graduated summa cum laude from Wellesley College with degrees in Political Science and Mathematics in 2018. Her undergraduate honors thesis, “Parity, What is it Good For? Jimmy Carter and the Legitimation of Nuclear Strategy,” examined the domestic and rhetorical politics behind Jimmy Carter’s nuclear doctrine and arms control policies.
